Job Summary 

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic startup environment where you will play a foundational role in our growth. In conjunction with the manager and owner, the PIC oversees all departments—pharmacy, nursing, and administrative/clerical—ensuring compliance with California Board of Pharmacy regulations and all organizational policies. As we operate as a lean, agile startup, you will evaluate financial status, direct performance improvement, and manage the clinical implementation of therapies. 

Key Responsibilities 

Operations: Lead a hands-on, multidisciplinary team; oversee daily operations and strictly enforce all company policies and procedures. 
Financial & Clinical Strategy: Monitor financial health and collaborate on growth strategies during our scale-up phase. 
Clinical Care: Oversee the evaluation of physician orders, USP <797>/<800> sterile compounding, and safe dispensing. 
Patient Management: Direct medication therapy management and counseling for home infusion patients.

Requirements

Requirements 

Licensure: Active CA Pharmacist license in good standing (Required). 
Experience: 3+ years clinical experience; 1+ year in infusion/sterile compounding (Required). 
Startup Mindset: Ability to thrive in a lean environment with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude. 
Skills: Expert knowledge of infusion pumps (e.g., Curlin) and software (CareTend or CPR+). 
Physical: Ability to stand for long periods, lift 40+ lbs, and work around latex.
