Hours, days of week, and location subject to change based on needs of the department.Job SummarySeeking qualified Pharmacist to: Directly manage daily operations and has legal binding through Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) licensure to ensure the unit meets departmental and organizational goals. Participate in the routine supervision and training of Pharmacist and technical staff related to daily operations of drug distribution. Compound and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders from physicians. Review and interpret prescriptions and drug profiles to ensure appropriate drug therapy has been prescribed and ensures that drug interactions are considered. Maintain inventory and records on narcotics and other forms of drugs. Pharmacist-In-Charge licensure required for legal responsibility of work unit.

YesPreferred Education/ExperiencePharm D with 5 years of pharmacy experience or Pharm D with PGY2 in Health System Pharmacy Administration preferred.
