| Required License/Registration/Certification | Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician by either PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT); Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire. |
| Physical Requirements | This position requires intermittently sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and performing tasks with repetitive motions; and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to or over 50 pounds. Also involves some job-related travel (less than 10% of time); exposure to risk of injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; and exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, and blood-borne or airborne pathogens. |
| Shift | | Primarily Monday through Friday day shifts; shift hours may vary. Hours and days of week of operation and location of service provided may be subject to change based on future growth which may include weekends and some holidays. |
| Job Summary | Follow scope of standards and policies in relation to at minimum dispensing, procurement, mail order shipping, cold chain distribution, storage, and supply management. Person is responsible for following appropriate shipping requirements, providing quality measures, testing of cold chain packaging, monitoring complaints regarding shipping errors, turnaround times, and tracking of products after leaving facility, if available. Tracking of prescriptions and documentation required for auditing of shipments. Produce reports matching signatures to shipping histories, required for proper record keeping to show proof of delivery. There is an IEBC being considered. |
