Hospital Pharmacist — 13-week travel assignment in Billings, MT. PharmD or BSPharm required. Join our inpatient rehab pharmacy team to support medication therapy and patient recovery.

- Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Pharmacist assignment)

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,260 - $2,430 per week
- Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Hours per Week: 40
- Dress Code: Business casual
Pharmacist Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
- BS Pharm or PharmD degree required; accredited clinical residency preferred (PharmD preferred)
- Current Montana pharmacist license required (active state license to practice pharmacy in MT)
- At least 1 year of hospital pharmacy or inpatient pharmacy experience required (2 years preferred); experience in inpatient rehabilitation or clinical pharmacy services a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care and medication therapy management (MTM) for inpatient rehabilitation patients
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and rehabilitation specialists to optimize medication regimens for stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, orthopedic injury, and other neurological conditions
- Review, verify, and process medication orders for accuracy, dosing, interactions, and appropriateness
- Perform medication reconciliation at admission, transfer, and discharge to reduce medication errors and improve transitions of care
- Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff on medication safety, side effects, and adherence
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and facility policies
- Participate in clinical pharmacy programs, formulary management, and quality improvement initiatives
