Description

Klingensmith's Drug Stores is seeking a part time, floating, staff pharmacist. Klingensmith's is a full service, family owned, retail pharmacy with 6 locations in Armstrong and Clarion counties. Klingensmith's provides prescriptions, over-the-counter products, home health aides and clinical services dedicated to patient centered care.

Pharmacists are responsible for accurately filling and dispensing prescriptions to patients while providing information and counseling about those drugs as well as other medications to patients.  Pharmacists are also responsible for the administration of vaccines.  Additional clinical responsibilities to include, but are not limited to, MTM’s and all other clinical programs promoted by Klingensmith’s.  Pharmacists are also responsible for supervising pharmacy technicians and daily reporting.

Candidates must hold a B.S. degree or PharmD from an accredited institution, an immunization certificate and a current PA license. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends in multiple store locations. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills also a must. Should be able to multitask and manage time effectively.
