Growing together.As a full time, nonexempt Pharmacy Technician at Samuel U Rodgers Health Center (Outpatient Clinic) in Kansas City, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs and billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Schedule: This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week from 8:15am-4:45pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, and 7:30am-3:30pm Wednesdays. There are no scheduled weekend hours with this position.
About the Facility: Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, located at 825 Euclid Avenue in the northeast area of Kansas City, Missouri, provides outpatient pharmacy and related retail pharmacy services to support the diverse patient population of children, adolescents and adults receiving primary healthcare services. The services provided include specialty women's health services (OB/GYN and mammography screenings), podiatry, mental health for children and adults, pharmacy services, digital imaging, lab services, and community outreach services. Language interpreters are also on-site to assist in translating many languages to better serve those patient populations.
About the Pharmacy: The Outpatient Clinic pharmacy is open 8:00am-5:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, and 7:30am-1:00pm Wednesdays (closed Saturday/Sunday) and utilizes PioneerRx software.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current State of Missouri Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
- Proven effective communications skills; verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent pharmacy technician experience working in an outpatient pharmacy clinic or retail pharmacy setting
- Bilingual or Spanish/English skills
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable
